６月２４日、中田先生にお見送りして
もらいながら、函館港から北海道のウ
オークスタート。

６月２８日、定山渓から札幌までの山道を一
緒に歩いてくれた、遠山さん。

JUNE 22nd-28th
Pictures of a healthy 33 year old Brian
Curtis who started smoking at age 13.
Brian, dead 2 months later from Lung
Cancer. He wanted people to know the
dangers of tobacco, so I am sharing
these pictures so that he can send his
message posthoumously.

左は元気な時の、ブライアン　カー
ティスさん３３歳。ブライアンさん
は１３歳の時からタバコを吸い始め
ました。右は、この写真の２ヵ月
後、肺がんで亡くなりました。彼は
死ぬ前、自分の写真を公表し、喫煙
の怖さを人々に知って欲しいといっ
て亡くなりました。彼の死が伝える
メッセージを皆さんにもわかっても
らいたいと思います。

中田ゆりさんと函館を一緒に観光しました。
A brief meeting with Dr Matsuno, from the
Sappora Cancer Centre who stopped to offer his
support, having read about me in the newspaper.

新聞を見て、声をかけてくれた松野さん。函
館新聞も買ってきてくれました。
