WALK AGAINST TOBACCO
2006
WEEK 3
April 27th-May 3rd
Scenes from my arrival in Hiroshima and praying at
the Hiroshima peace memorial for those killed by
the atomic bomb and for those who continue to be
killed by tobacco. April 29th.

4月29日、広島平和公園にて。原爆で亡くなっ
た方、タバコの害で亡くなった方のご冥福を
祈るとともに、平和とみんなの健康を祈りま
した。

Association, Dr Usui at the reception.

広島県医師会　会長、碓井先生と。
 With Dr Tsuya, his wife and supporters for the
Peace Park event where we handed out quit-
smoking info-tissues on April 30th.

4月30日、津谷先生と奥様、御支援いただいた
皆様。平和公園にて禁煙をアピールする
ティッシュを配りました。
Me walking out of Kurashiki and passing the
congested holiday traffic on my way to Okayama.

倉敷から岡山に向かう途中。ＧＷで道は渋
滞。
My New Zealand friend Simon Oshaughnessy and
Mr Takemoto joining me on the walk to Okayama,
May 3rd

5月3日、僕の友人、ニュージーランド人のサ
イモンと武本さんと岡山まで歩きました。
Resting in Kurashiki with Simon, Mr Takemoto
and Ms Bando who joined us here for the last
hours walk.

倉敷で、サイモンと武本さん、ここから参加
してくれた坂東さん。
 Todays finish outside Kawasaki Medical University
where we were met by Dr Kawane.

この日終わった所は川崎医科大学、川根先生も
一緒に。


Dr Himeno and his city councillor wife welcoming
us to their house in Iwakuni, where we enjoyed our
7th homestay on April 28th
.

ションの席にて。

9th homestay with Dr Kodama and family and an
evening dinner together with Dr Kimura, May 2nd

左は福山のお寺、5月2日　右の写真は9件目の
ホームステイ、児玉先生のご家族。夕食は児
玉先生ご家族、木村先生ご家族と、美味しい
瀬戸内海の魚を頂きました。

Tsuya followed by a panel discussion with the
members pictured, Dr Tsuya, Dr Kawane, radio
announcer Ms Sera and TV personality Ms
Yoshida on April 30th

していただいて、市民講座を開催。右の写真
は司会のＲＣＣアナウンサー吉田さん、
ＲＣＣラジオアナウンサー世良さん、後ろは
川根先生、市民の方も交えてパネルディス
カッションしました。

daughter and friendly son in law and Bene the dog.
